Mike Donovan

Mike Donovan is Senior Vice President of the Strategic Solutions Group (SSG). Mike brings over 22 years of experience leading both internal and customer facing programs for DSA. He has supported each of DSA’s operational business units and has direct experience supporting many of DSA’s longest standing customers. Mike manages three critical markets for DSA that include government and commercial programs. SSG is comprised of programs supporting mission requirements for the Intelligence, Critical Infrastructure, Federal Civilian, and State and Local communities. These programs deliver services and solutions covering the areas of mission support, enterprise information technology, data science, and critical infrastructure protection.
Our customers include the Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC), Naval Facilities Command (NAVFAC), Army DEVCOM Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center, Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Justice (DOJ), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Sandia National Laboratories, Commonwealth of Virginia, and numerous universities and medical campuses across the United States.
Mike joined DSA in 2001 as a Systems Engineer and has held positions as Program Manager, Program Director, Senior Director, and Vice President. Prior to joining DSA, Mike supported the development of Knowledge Management solutions for the Ballistic Missile Defense Organization (BMDO)/National Missile Defense (NMD) and supported various state and local governments with implementing software solutions to improve collaboration.
Mike holds a master’s degree from the University of Virginia in Management of Information Technology (MS MIT) and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Ferrum College. He holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
