Mike Donovan is Senior Vice President of the Intelligence and Critical Infrastructure Protection business unit. He brings over 23 years of experience supporting many of DSA’s longest standing customers. Mike manages programs that address mission requirements for the Intelligence Community to include cloud engineering, infrastructure modernization, platform engineering, DevSecOps, systems integration, and cyber security. He is also responsible for providing secure, critical infrastructure protection for Federal, State, and Commercial customers.
Mike’s business unit supports customers including the U.S. Army G2 (Intelligence), U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC), U.S. Army Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Battalion, U.S. Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM), U.S. Army DEVCOM Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (Data, Engineering and Software) (DASA(DES)), Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Chemical and Biological Defense (DASD(CBD)), Naval Facilities Command (NAVFAC), Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Sandia National Laboratories, and numerous universities and medical campuses across the United States.
Mike joined DSA in 2001 as a Systems Engineer and has held positions as Program Manager, Program Director, Senior Director, and Vice President. Prior to joining DSA, Mike supported the development of Knowledge Management solutions for the Ballistic Missile Defense Organization (BMDO)/National Missile Defense (NMD) and various state and local governments with implementing software solutions to improve collaboration.
Mike holds a master’s degree from the University of Virginia in Management of Information Technology (MS MIT) and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Ferrum College. In addition, he holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
