Kathleen Kirk
As Chief Operations Officer, Kathleen Kirk ensures operational excellence in providing solutions and services including cloud, intelligent analytics, digital modernization, cybersecurity, and systems engineering to DSA’s DoD, intel, civil, and commercial customer base.
Kathleen is a Brava Award winner, which distinguishes leaders that combine their irrepressible entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for giving back to the community and that show exemplary leadership within their companies and their communities. She is also a NE Maryland Technology Council Visionary Leader Award winner, which recognizes volunteer efforts that contribute to building a STEM-educated workforce and advancing technology and innovation.
Kathleen organizes and volunteers at TechGirlz workshops, an organization which DSA supports that inspires middle school girls to explore the possibilities of technology to empower their future careers. http://www.techgirlz.org/
Projects that Kathleen supported received Army Knowledge Management Awards for Technology, Process, and Knowledge Management, the Government Information Technology Executive Council Award for Program Management Excellence, and the e-Gov Institute Knowledge Management Recognition Award for Successful Use of Innovative Knowledge Management Practices.
Kathleen holds a Master of Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Drexel University. She is also Certified Lean Six Sigma.
