Joseph Bartasius
Joseph Bartasius serves as Chief Growth Officer (CGO) at Data Systems Analysts, Inc. (DSA). As a member of the leadership team, he is dedicated to driving strategic vision and expanding and sustaining DSA’s presence within the Defense, Federal, and Academia Markets. He is responsible for mission execution with a commitment to excellence to enable our customers to achieve success with overall effectiveness and efficiencies.
Mr. Bartasius is responsible for all aspects of business growth including new business pipeline expansion, capture and proposal execution, on-contract growth, and engaging customer relationship management. He leads teams in business development, capture management, communications and marketing, strategy, and in customer excellence that focus on delivering industry leading win rates and above market organic growth.
Mr. Bartasius brings over 20 years of experience supporting the Department of Defense, the United States Army, Federal Government agencies, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. He brings expertise in complex, innovative technology solutions in the areas of C5ISR Systems Sustainment, Software Engineering, and Logistics and Supply Chain solutions and services.
He retired at the rank of Colonel from the U.S. Army and Army Reserve and served in a variety of command and staff positions in airborne, light, special operations, Joint Commands, and training units serving in Southwest Asia (Iraq and Afghanistan), the Republic of Germany, and the United States.
Mr. Bartasius holds an Associate degree in Business from the distinguished Valley Forge Military Academy and College where he held the cadet rank of 1st Captain, Regimental Commander. He received his Army commission through the ROTC (Distinguished Military Graduate) program as an Infantry officer. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cabrini University with Cum Laude honors for academic excellence and attended the University of Pennsylvania for his graduate work in Organizational Management. Joe serves as a Trustee of the Valley Forge Military Academy Foundation.
Mr. Bartasius is a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans, the Military Officers Association of America, and the Association of the United States Army. He is a 2016 Inductee in the United States Army Reserve Officer’s Training Corp. (ROTC), Hall of Fame.
