Philadelphia, PA – July 20, 2021 — Data Systems Analysts, Inc. (DSA), a leader in delivering secure, innovative technology and information management solutions to the Federal Government, is pleased to announce the promotion of John Somplasky as Vice President of Program Excellence and Quality Management.

John concurrently serves as DSA’s Chief Information Security Officer with responsibility for the company’s cybersecurity program and information security management system. He brings in depth technical knowledge to his role as Vice President of Program Excellence in the implementation and institutionalization of DSA’s ISO 9001, ISO 27001, CMMI-SVC and CMMI-DEV certifications.

John joined DSA in 2015 as the Director of Quality Management and Program Excellence and was promoted to Senior Director and named Chief Information Security Officer in 2016. Prior to joining DSA, he was a Program Director at Lockheed Martin specializing in program management, software development, systems engineering and troubled program recovery over 23 years. John is a U.S. Navy veteran, former nuclear submarine officer, and qualified Navy nuclear engineer officer.
