Eoin O’Driscoll
Dr. Eoin O’Driscoll is Vice President of Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) at DSA. The CIP group delivers end-to-end Operational Technology (OT) solutions that secure, modernize, and optimize complex environments across federal, DoD, civilian, higher-education, and energy-sector customers. CIP specializes in deploying and sustaining solutions that centralize high-fidelity, time-series data to improve resiliency, reliability, and situational awareness. This enterprise data aggregation work incorporates OT-IT cybersecurity, data modeling, and AI-driven optimization. The CIP group also specializes in Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) support focusing on data modeling (i.e. Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure and Environment) and improving data quality in support of our DoD customer missions. As Vice President of Critical Infrastructure Protection, Eoin continues to guide high-impact programs, mentor emerging leaders, architect resilient systems, and advance the company’s long-term strategic objectives. His leadership helps ensure DSA remains a trusted partner in safeguarding and modernizing the essential systems that power institutions, communities, and national operations.
Eoin joined DSA in 2019 as a Principal Engineer working on programs supporting the University of Maryland and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Eoin has led CIP since its inception in 2020; he has been central to the group’s growth and expansion across customers and support areas. CIP now provides monitoring and optimization support to commercial nuclear reactors, Defense installations, State universities, and district energy plants. In 2023, Eoin led the creation of WatchPost™ (www.watchpost.com), a brand designed to support the productization of our Smart Campus service offerings. Our first product, Geo WatchPost, was developed in 2024 before being released in 2025.
Prior to working at DSA, Eoin worked as a Senior Engineer at Siemens, an Energy Engineer at Johnson & Johnson, and an Operations Engineer working in the Guinness Powerhouse at St. James Gate, Dublin, Ireland. Eoin is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, Ireland with a Mechanical Engineering PhD, a Bachelor of Science (Engineering with Management), and a Post Graduate Diploma (Statistics). Eoin is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the Commonwealth of Virginia and an AEE Certified Energy Manager (CEM). He is a member of ASHRAE's Technical Committee 7.5 which focuses on Smart Building Systems. Eoin also serves as a reviewer for academic journals including Energy, Energy Policy, the Journal of Cleaner Production, and Energy & Buildings. Eoin is also the proud recipient of the AFCEA Top 40 under 40 Award (2022) and the Northeastern Maryland Technology Council (NMTC) Innovator Award (2022).
