Award Confirms DSA as a Strong Leader in Information Assurance and Software Engineering
Aberdeen Providing Ground, MD, July, 2013 – Data Systems Analysts, Inc. (DSA), a leader in delivering secure information-sharing services to the Federal government, received official notification that it has been awarded two task orders on the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD) Omnibus Program and Engineering Technical Support (OPETS) contract. This is a multiple-award indefinite Delivery/indefinite quantity (MA ID/IQ) contract with performance-based task orders for the JPEO-CBD and other customers under the auspices of the Chemical Biological Defense Program (CBDP).
OPETS supports the JPEO-CBD headquarters, directorates and nine joint project managers (JPMs). There are six domain support areas: Acquisition, Logistics, Business and Analytical, Engineering and Technical, Information Technology, and Medical. The acquisition domain is a total small business set aside and the five remaining domains are unrestricted. The cumulative total of all task orders awarded to all awardees will not exceed $495,000,000 over the life of the contract. NAICS Code 541330, Engineering Services for Military and Aerospace Equipment and Military Weapons, applies with a small business size standard exception of $35,500,000. The period of performance include one base year and two option years.
