Air Force award for Advanced Computer Flight Plan Application Support contract
Scott AFB, IL (March 20, 2014) – Data Systems Analysts, Inc. (DSA), a leader a leader in delivering information management solutions to the Federal Government, is pleased to announce that the US Air Force Air Mobility Command (AMC) has awarded the company the Advanced Computer Flight Plan (ACFP) Application Support contract. ACFP is AMC's primary automated aircraft flight planning system used worldwide by AMC and other United States Air Force major commands during peacetime, crisis, contingency, and wartime operations. The system provides fuel and time optimized computer flight plans using an online system of track libraries, international navigational aids libraries, remote terminal request and dissemination procedures, and current weather forecasts. Under this contract, DSA will provide comprehensive support services to include program management, requirements analysis, custom application development, test and evaluation, security engineering supporting certification and accreditation, operations support, software development, and managed services. DSA will perform this work at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois and will manage the program through its office in O'Fallon, Illinois.
