Company Continues Strong Growth
Fairfax, VA, August 30, 2011 – Data Systems Analysts, Inc. (DSA), a leading provider of secure information sharing information technology solutions to the Department of Defense (DoD) and Federal Government market, was named today to Inc. magazine's fifth annual Inc. 5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. 2011 marks DSA's fourth inclusion in the rankings over the Inc. 5000's five-year history.

In a largely stagnant economy, median growth rate of 2011 Inc. 5000 companies remains an impressive 94 percent. The companies on this year's list report having created 350,000 jobs in the past three years, and aggregate revenue among the honorees reached $366 billion, up 14 percent from last year.

The 2011 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2007 to 2010. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2007. Additionally, they had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2010. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2007 is $100,000; the minimum for 2010 is $2 million.
