Elected Officials, Senior Army Representatives and Community Leaders Attend Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Aberdeen, MD, December 20, 2010 – Data Systems Analysts, Inc. (DSA), provider of secure information technology solutions and services to Government and industry, held an Open House and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on November 30 to commemorate the opening of its newest office near Aberdeen Proving Grounds (APG), Maryland.
The well-attended event began with welcome statements from Ms. Fran Pierce, DSA President and CEO, and Ms. Kathleen Kirk, DSA Vice President. These were followed by remarks from City of Aberdeen Mayor Michael Bennett, and Harford County Director of Economic Development, Jim Richardson.
Speaking at the podium was Mr. Chuck Pizzutelli, Assistant to PEO C3T Program Executive Officer BG Lee Price, and DSA's long time customer, Mr. Emerson Keslar, Director of PEO C3T MilTech Solutions. COL. Orlando Ortiz, Commander US Army Garrison APG was also in attendance.
The ceremonial ribbon was cut by Maryland Senator Barry Glassman; Mayor Michael Bennett; Mr. Jim Richardson; Mr. Dominick Murray, Deputy Secretary of the Maryland Department of Business & Economic Development; Ms. Fran Pierce and Ms. Kathleen Kirk.
"The opening of DSA's newest office at APG is further evidence of the growing need for the mission critical, secure information sharing services DSA provides," said Kirk. "This move enables us to continue to provide vital and seamless support to our customers as they transition from New Jersey and other areas to APG under BRAC.
The new office, a state-of-the-art green facility located just outside the APG North Gate, is the base for DSA's employees in the area supporting PEO C3T MilTech Solutions, RDECOM and the CECOM Contracting Command.
