DSA congratulates Charquelle Mattox as a winner of the Northeastern Maryland Technology Council Visionary Award in the Rising Star category. This award recognizes Char as a person of interest to watch and one who demonstrates the potential to be an excellent, long-term contributor to building the S.T.E.M. Educated workforce or advancing our Innovation & Technology base.
Char is a Knowledge Manager at DSA. With 10 years of KM experience, she specializes in streamlining processes utilizing Microsoft collaborative tools. Her specialties include SharePoint, records management and information architecture.
Char volunteers and assists in her local community for several years. She has supported DSA's efforts with organizing and running the community workshops for young women in STEM formerly called TechGirlz and most recently helped to run DSA's new TechCrew organization at the Magic of Science Fair event held at Towson University and the Salute to Service event at the Discovery Center at Water's Edge.
Char is instrumental in leading the workshops, answering questions from the attendees and the behind-the-scenes development and design of the workshops. She is a community speaker speaking on knowledge management, Power Platform, SharePoint and Microsoft AI.
