Pierce, President and CEO, Data Systems Analysts (DSA), a provider of global information technology solutions and security services to government and industry, announced that Dr. Michael J. Mestrovich, PhD has been appointed to DSA's Federal Advisory Board of Directors (FAB).
Mestrovich is President and CEO of Unlimited New Dimensions, LLC (www.undllc.com) and President and Chairman of the Board of the Federation for Identity and Cross Credentialing Systems (FiXs) (www.fixs.org).
Unlimited New Dimensions provides consulting services to commercial and government entities as they develop their enterprise and operational strategies. These services are focused on the areas of acquisition and acquisition life cycle processes, web based applications and e-Business processes, internet/intranet based solutions, enterprise level services, interface and enterprise architectures, information assurance, public key infrastructure, critical infrastructure protection, network-centric solutions, identity management and credentialing, homeland security and executive education in areas of information management, change management, leveraged teaming, and knowledge management.
The Federation for Identity and Cross-Credentialing Systems (FiXs) is a coalition of commercial companies, government contractors, and not-for-profit organizations whose mission is to establish and maintain a worldwide, interoperable identity and cross-credentialing network built on security, privacy, trust, standard operating rules, policies, and technical standards. The FiXs network verifies and authenticates the identity of personnel seeking to enter U.S. military installations and government-controlled areas, as well as commercial sites tied to the network.
Previously, Mestrovich served for thirty years in the Department of Defense (DoD) as member of the Senior Executive Service, in information management/technology programs.
In addition to his role as President of FiXs, Mestrovich is active in many industry forums such as AFCEA. He is currently the Chairman of the Program Advisory Board for E-GOV 2002 through 2007 Homeland Defense and Information Assurance Conferences; and Chairman Emeritus of the AFCEA Technical Committee.
DSA established the Federal Advisory Board (FAB) in 2004 to capitalize on its rapid growth in the Civilian, Defense and Intelligence marketplaces. Its purpose is to assist DSA, an employee-owned company, in reviewing its strategic business plan, and to provide guidance on how DSA can better deliver technology solutions in the public sector.
Other members of DSA's Federal Advisory Board include David Borland, former Deputy to the Army's Chief Information Officer (CIO/G6); Edward A. Hart, former Deputy Director of the National Security Agency (NSA) and current president, Hart Enterprises, LLC; Tom L. Hewitt, founder, Federal Sources, Inc.; and, Charles A. Self, former Deputy Commissioner of the Federal Technology Service (FTS) and current president, The Self Group, LLC.
Mestrovich has an undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame, and a Masters from Duquesne University. He received his Doctorate of Philosophy in Economics from the University of Notre Dame. He and his wife Jane reside in Montclair, Virginia.
