Integrated Secure Identity Management System: Modules

iSIMS is comprised of two modules – the Client Application and the Virtual Access Log.

The iSIMS Client Application is used by organization staff to manage facilities and identities. In the school environment, the iSIMS Client Application allows authorized users to set school calendars, assign students and teachers to grades, schools ,and classrooms – all from a school and/or regional level.  For reporting requirements, users can use iSIMS to create customizable reports to help manage their facilities and people.

Identity Management is also performed through the iSIMS Client Application. The application allows for registration of any type of person associated with an organization. During registration each person is assigned a role (student, teacher, volunteer, etc), which can be customized or predefined. Each identity in iSIMS can be populated with information about the individual. For example, in a school scenario, each student identity contains the following optional attributes:

  • Photograph

  • Contact Information

  • Emergency Contacts Information

  • Authorized pickups

  • Medical Alerts

  • Other Alerts

  • Hospital & Physician

  • School association

  • Classroom(s) assigned

  • Grade

  • And More

The second module within iSIMS is the Virtual Access Log. This access log is used to track and monitor arrival and departure times. In the school environment, each student can be assigned people who are authorized pick them up. The student’s iSIMS Cards are used to capture arrival and departure times. Upon pickup, the authorized pickup will authenticate to iSIMS with a PIN and the log captures the authorized pickup.
