The Army's Strategic Services Sourcing (S3) IDIQ allows customers to obtain engineering, logistics, and business operations support services for all phases of system life cycle from research and technology development, through design and demonstration, as well as production and sustainment. The contract vehicle Performance Work Statement (PWS) has forty-three functional areas in engineering, logistics, and business operation support.
Available to the C-E LCMC C4ISR Community, the Army Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (C-E LCMC) Acquisition Center, in coordination with the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Community, S3 is intended to provide a single, multiple-award contract vehicle covering a broad range of life cycle services designed to efficiently meet the integrated Engineering, Business Operations and Logistics service needs of all C4ISR customers. This integrated lifecycle services approach is critical for meeting the needs of the Warfighter.
The C-E LCMC Acquisition Center has designed S3 as a contract vehicle which provides access to a broad scope of capabilities that is flexible for meeting rapidly changing mission requirements. This 5 year(s) base plus one 5 year(s) option contract expires in 2016 (03/02/2006 through 03/01/2016). Total ceiling value is $19.25 billion.
