DSA PUBLISHES WHITE PAPER: “ACHIEVING INFORMATION DOMINANCE THROUGH NET-CENTRICITY”

DSA Brings a Vision of Net-Centric Requirements to DoD IT Programs

FAIRFAX, Va., January 3 – Data Systems Analysts, Inc. (DSA), a provider of business-driven information technology and consulting solutions, today announced the publication of a white paper on the future of information delivery in the Department of Defense: “Achieving Information Dominance through Net-Centricity.”

Authored by DSA Senior Vice President Doug Wagoner and DSA Director of Net-Centric Support Programs William Player, the white paper provides an overview of where DoD has been and where it wants to be in the delivery of information as well as recommends an approach that organizations can take to be ready for the new world of net-centric operations.

“DSA’s people have been with DISA since the beginning of its Net-Centric Enterprise Services initiative – back when we were defining the services needed to best achieve information dominance,” said Wagoner. “What we’ve been doing is to help them in their planning, in defining the NCES requirements and in getting approval to proceed within the DoD acquisition process.

“With NCES on the horizon, DSA has created a patent-pending process that any DoD organization can go through to achieve net-centricity and take advantage of NCES capabilities. In our white paper we not only define net-centricity, but we also define the steps to achieve it – how to plan for it programmatically and budget for it, especially given the long budget horizons of the government,” said Wagoner.

“DSA is currently using this process as part of our contract with the Air Force Communications Agency, which is led by Bill Player’s team at Scott AFB,” Wagoner concluded.

Copies of DSA’s white paper, “Achieving Information Dominance through Net-Centricity,” are available at no charge. Click here to register to receive a print edition, or call DSA at 703-591-3704.
