DSA recognized for "Exceptional Support" by the Product Manager, Defense Message System Army for the period August 2000 - August 2003.

DSA provided support for the Tactical Message System as a partner with General Dynamics C4S. Most recently DSA provided field engineering support for the Army's transition to the current software version of the Defense Message System (DMS) and direct support to Operation Iraqi Freedom in Kuwait. Ms. Cathy Doolos served as the Army’s Product Manager.
During the award ceremony, LTC Paul Haffey thanked DSA specifically for innovative technical support in helping the Army make a bold decision which resulted in a successful redesign of their Tactical Message System with drastically reduced cost, using notebook computers as servers in the deployable suite of equipment.
