ISSUE
As the trade association that represents 90% of the recording industry, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) needed technical recommendations and representation to fight piracy on behalf of their members.
SOLUTION

RESULT

DSA discovered CSS was very weak and recommended that it not be used to protect DVD audio.

RIAA was able to communicate their positions on the various issues surrounding copyright protection in a technical manner.
