DSA Wins Multi-Year Task Order From Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)
DSA to Provide Continued Program Management Support to Net Centric Enterprise Services Program

FAIRFAX, Va., November 13, 2006 – Frances R. Pierce, President and CEO, Data Systems Analysts, Inc. (DSA), announced today that the company has been awarded a $15.6M multi-year task order from the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).

Awarded under the General Services Administration Multiple Award Schedule, the order allows for the continuation of program management support to DISA’s Net-Centric Enterprise Services (NCES) Program Management Office.

“This is a significant award that expands DSA’s 40+ year relationship with DISA,” said Pierce. “DSA understands and appreciates this program’s value to the Department, and we are very proud to have been selected to support DISA’s NCES team.”

Under the order, DSA will be responsible for assisting DISA in moving the NCES program forward in its Milestone and implementation efforts. These responsibilities include providing analysis and research expertise for the development of required Milestone documents; supporting the PMO’s customer outreach efforts; supporting the design of needed architectures describing managed services; and assisting in the definition and implementation of the various user testing scenarios.

DoD OSD created the Net-Centric Enterprises Services program to provide enterprise services in support of the Global Information Grid (GIG) and charged DISA with its development. NCES will provide Department of Defense (DoD) organizations ubiquitous access to reliable, decision-quality information through a net-based services infrastructure and applications to bridge real-time and near-real-time communities of interest (COI).

NCES will empower the edge user to pull information from any available source, with minimal latency, to support the mission. Its capabilities will allow GIG users to task, post, process, use, store, manage and protect information resources on demand for warriors, policy makers and support personnel.
