DSA NAMES ROBERT L. RUSSELL ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT, BUSINESS OPERATIONS
FAIRFAX, Va. – June 12, 2006 – Robert L. Russell has joined DSA, a provider of IT consulting services to government and industry, as Assistant Vice President for Business Operations. In that capacity Russell will oversee the company’s Washington D.C. Operations marketing, security, recruiting, and contracts administration functions and help maintain DSA’s strategic posture in the regional marketplace.

Immediately prior to joining DSA, Russell served as Assistant Vice President for ChoicePoint Government Services. He managed all activities related to the initiation of the Identity Management practice, including strategic planning, business development, marketing, personnel resource allocation and sales support, and helped grow the practice into a multimillion dollar line of business. He also was responsible for relationship management efforts for all ChoicePoint data solutions customers and directed a team of customer-facing account managers
Russell previously served as ChoicePoint’s Director, Marketing and Product Launch, where he planned and directed new product development initiatives in concert with technical, sales, marketing and executive staffs. During his four years in that position his contributions resulted in a growth rate in excess of 400% with his successful wins at IRS, FBI, US Marshals Service and Department of Justice.
Russell holds a B.A. in History and a Master of Business Administration from The College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, VA.
