DSA Announces Four Key Executive Promotions
Trevose, Pa., March 29 , 2005 – Data Systems Analysts, Chairman and CEO, Frances R. Pierce, announced four key executive promotions:
Doug Wagoner has been named senior vice president, responsible for DSA’s Washington, D.C. Operation. He had been Vice President and General Manager. According to Pierce, “Under Doug’s leadership, the DC office has experienced significant revenue growth and customer base expansion.” Wagoner brings to his new position more than 17 years experience in management, finance, and business development. He joined DSA in 2001.
Wagoner leads the ITAA Committee on Intelligence. He has served as chairman of the board for the Center to Prevent Economic Crime.
Wagoner holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the College of William and Mary and an MBA from Virginia Tech.
Charles Cooks has been promoted to vice president intelligence programs, responsible for DSA’s Intelligence Community and Homeland Security programs. Prior to his promotion, he served as DSA’s Business Unit Director and Program Manager.
Cooks is a retired U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Officer, having worked extensively in planning, directing, and coordinating the deployment of command and control information systems. He joined DSA in 2002.
Cooks has a B.S. in computer science from Jackson State University, a graduate Certificate in Telecommunications Operations & Acquisition Management from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology, a diploma in U.S. Military Operations and Command & Control Planning from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and a skill certification in Command & Control Planning from National Defense University.
Bill Jones has been named vice president, C4 Solutions, responsible for DISA programs, Army programs for DSA’s D.C. Operation, and other messaging related opportunities. He had been Senior Program Director.
Jones has 27 years experience in diverse positions in telecommunications, information systems, defence acquisition, and project management. Prior to joining DSA in 1995, Jones served as a communications and electronics officer in the U. S. Army.
Jones has a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Maryland, an M.S. in Systems Technology from the Joint Command, Control, and Communications, Naval Postgraduate school, and an M.S. in Systems Engineering from George Mason University.
Kathleen Kirk has been named vice president Northeast Federal Operations, responsible for Army programs for the New Jersey & Pennsylvania Operations. Kirk will be responsible for the overall performance on a prime contract for the U.S. Army Program Executive Office Command, Control, and Communications Tactical (PEO C3T). She had been Senior Program Director.
Throughout her twenty year career, Kirk has worked in the defense, aerospace, pharmaceutical, telecommunications and information technology industries. She has led project teams which have been recognized for several awards, including the Government Technology Leadership Award and the Lotus Beacon Award for Best e-Business Solution. Prior to joining DSA in 1994, Kirk worked for General Electric, Mitel Telecommunications, Premier Research Worldwide, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Kirk has a B.S. in Computer Science from Drexel University and an MBA in Marketing from Pennsylvania State University.
