2000 Beacon Award Winner Unveils Knowledge Center at NJ Technology Showcase
Pennsauken, NJ – June 7, 2000 – Data Systems Analysts, Inc. (DSA), winner of the prestigious 2000 Beacon Award for the Best e-Business Solution will be demonstrating its new product for knowledge management, the Knowledge Center, at the New Jersey Technology Showcase, June 7-8th at the Garden State Convention Center. The Knowledge Center is a centralized, Web-enabled application for the management of institutional knowledge. It provides management, employees, contractors and vendors with a secure site for the posting and distribution of information. Essentially, the Knowledge Center provides authorized users with a secure "one-stop shopping" information portal for all of their business needs.
With the Knowledge Center, DSA is targeting any corporation with a large amount of data that needs to be accessed, distributed, updated, reviewed, or changed by volumes of users on a regular basis. The product includes security controls to manage who has access to what data.
Along with the Knowledge Center, DSA has developed a real-time instant messaging application that also includes sharing features for network meetings. This application, in conjunction with teleconferencing, has greatly reduced travel costs.
