Defense Information Systems Network (DISN) – Providing Mission Critical Communications
ISSUE
The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) needed to provide secure access for C2 and mission critical communications for the Department of Defense (DoD). The Defense Information System Network (DISN) was created to provide Transmission, Video, and Network Management Services for the DoD.
SOLUTION
DSA provided the security solutions for the DISN Switched/Bandwidth Management System – CONUS
Specifically, DSA provided:

RESULTS

DISA achieved DAA concurrence to commission and operate 35 deployed Bandwidth Managers.

3,500 Security Audits conducted without significant findings
